Ce seront qq MC pour commencer, des routes vers la Chine continentale !
A320 ou 737, le choix n'est pas fait, 5 à 20 avions sur 5 ans !

Le Co-actionnaire HK First Investment Group, Victor Chu, parle de leasing ... peut être à ANA d'ailleurs ?? Il n'est pas trop suivi par le porte parole ... de ANA !
Une décision proche (Et peut être de politique interne) et qui sera intéressante à suivre !

A new Japanese low-cost carrier that will be partly owned by All Nippon Airways (ANA) plans to operate five narrowbody aircraft in its first year, before growing its fleet to up to 20 aircraft in five years.

The Osaka-based airline aims to begin flights to up to four domestic and four international destinations in its first year of operations, says an ANA spokeswoman.

"By the end of the fifth year of operations, we aim to have 15 to 20 aircraft in the fleet," she adds, saying that the carrier is still deciding between the Boeing 737 and Airbus A320.

ANA is setting up the airline, which has yet to be named, in a joint venture with Hong Kong's First Investment group. Japanese investors will eventually hold a 66.7% stake in the airline, of which ANA will hold a 39% stake. First Eastern will have a 33.3% share.

First Eastern's chairman Victor Chu was quoted as saying in reports that the airline has committed to lease 10 narrowbodies, with the first to be delivered in September. ANA has previously announced that the airline will begin operations between October 2011 and March 2012.

ANA's spokeswoman declines to confirm Chu's remarks. Chu was not immediately contactable for comment.

In the reports, he was quoted as saying that the new airline plans to begin flights to cities in China such as Shanghai, Beijing, Tianjin, Shenzhen and Guangzhou.

ANA's spokeswoman says the new airline's destinations and fleet plan will be announced after the joint venture is formally established this month.

filiale 'low cost' de All Nippon Airways (ANA), a décidé de sélectionner
une flotte de 10 A320 pour démarrer ses activités.

A&F, dont
les premiers vols décolleront de l'aéroport Kansai International
d'Osaka au second semestre 2011, exploitera sa flotte dans le cadre
d'une contrat de leasing auprès de GECAS.

Les appareils, qui pourront accueillir 180 passagers, seront équipés de moteurs CFM International.

Airbus, qui appartient au groupe EADS, souligne qu'il s'agit d'un deuxième
succès commercial en trois mois sur le marché japonais après la commande
passée par Skymark en novembre dernier.

Ce serait passé inaperçu si ce n'était pour une compagnie basée au Japon !

When ZA101 rolled out at Paine Field here it was configured in a high density, two-class seating pattern for 264 passengers, including just 12 in business class. Nominal seating for a 787-8 is 210-250.

Officials said current planning for short-range international routes – regional routes in East and Southeast Asia – will be for a total 222 passengers in two classes, with 42 in business class. The initial aircraft included a stand-up bar in the mid-cabin.

The long-haul international ANA 787 will fly 46 of the new business class staggered seat and 112 economy, providing more seat-pitch than the domestic aircraft. One aspect of ANA’s economy that wasn’t at first obvious was the center armrests. No one likes to be sitting in the middle of a 2-4-2 layout, but ANA gives passengers a double arm rest in the middle, making the it less painful to have that middle seat.

Japan's All Nippon Airways says it will be the world's first airline to operate the latest Boeing passenger plane, the 787 Dreamliner.

ANA said on Tuesday that it is to receive delivery of the aircraft in late September and operate the plane's first-ever commercial flight, from Narita Airport to Hong Kong on October 26th.

ANA also says it plans to start using the plane for regular domestic flights linking Tokyo's Haneda Airport with Hiroshima and Okayama on November 1st.

The carrier also plans to use the plane for regular flights between Haneda and Beijing, China, in December and between Haneda and Frankfurt, Germany, next January.

Boeing uses carbon fiber for the plane's fuselage to reduce its weight and improve fuel efficiency by up to 20 percent compared to equivalent-sized aircraft.

Delivery of the 787 has been rescheduled 7 times, due to design changes and other reasons. ANA has ordered 55 of the planes, and Japan Airlines 35

Ben, ANA souhaiterait une soute "Contenairisée" pour le B737 MAX en 2017, surtout pour les lignes int'l, au Japon, ils arrivent à faire sans mais ...!

Le remplacement de certaines liaisons de 767, un jour ... hum, ils viennent pourtant d'en toucher qq uns de neufs, non ??

The airline has also discussed Boeing’s planned 737 MAX, a single-aisle aircraft that competes with Airbus SAS’s in- development A320neo, Ito said. The carrier suggested that the new plane be designed to hold air-cargo containers, he said.

“When we’re flying the plane domestically we can cope with it not being able to carry containers,” he said. “When we fly it overseas though, we want to be able to carry cargo.”

The airline, which operates 56 Boeing 737s, isn’t looking to buy more narrow-body planes at present, Ito said. The carrier has outstanding orders for 10 more of the current variant of the 737s, according to Boeing’s website.

Boeing is planning to start deliveries of the 737 MAX, an upgrade of its most widely flown jet, in 2017.

ANA Boeing 767 damaged after 'hard landing'

An All Nippon Airways' Boeing 767-300 aircraft was damaged after a
"rough landing" at Tokyo's Narita International airport on 20 June.

The aircraft, registration JA610A, was on a Beijing-Narita service when the
incident happened at 13:28 local time. Flightglobal data show that the
airframe was manufactured in 2002.

During the landing the 767
bounced off the runway before coming down heavily a second time, a video
recording of the incident shows.

"The flight had a rough landing
when it landed at Narita's runway. After all passengers and crew were
off, our mechanic checked the aircraft and found the outer panel of the
aircraft's fore side of the body had been damaged," says an ANA
spokeswoman.

She adds that there were strong winds when the incident happened but it
remains unclear whether the weather caused the rough landing.
The Japan Transport Safety Board is now investigating the case, and the aircraft is grounded at ANA's hangar at Narita airport.
"It is not yet decided whether we will return the aircraft to service," says the spokeswoman.
None of the 183 passengers and 10 crew onboard were injured.

The low-cost airline joint venture, based at Tokyo's main international airport at Narita, has failed to win over Japanese travelers since it was set up in August 2011. ANA has blamed the poor performance of AirAsia Japan on ineffective marketing and a user-unfriendly booking website.
AirAsia said earlier this month it may dissolve the venture due to disagreement over how to operate the business. Executives from the Malaysian budget airline and ANA, which owns 67 percent of the venture, had been unable to find common ground on issues including cost management.
The breakup comes at a time when AirAsia is planning to expand overseas. However, the move is consistent with AirAsia's decisions to drop loss-making routes.
AirAsia Japan has been reporting losses since it began operations with flights to five local destinations and two in South Korea. The venture cut ANA's operating profit by about 3.5 billion yen ($35.87 million) in the year ended March, ANA's Senior Vice President Shinzo Shimizu said on Tuesday.
"We judged it would be better to operate the carrier as a wholly owned unit," Shimizu said at a press conference in Tokyo.
ANA did not say how much it will pay to buy out AirAsia.
ANA has another budget joint venture Peach based out of Osaka's Kansai airport. Local rival Japan Airlines operates Jetstar Japan, a joint venture with Qantas Airways that has bases in both Narita and Kansai.
Shimizu said ANA will decide in July how to operate the former AirAsia venture and will choose a name for the unit, which will use the AirAsia livery until November.

Ce serait une sensation mais... spéculation, spéculation.
