TOKYO, April 17, 2009 (AFP) -
One engine of a Japan Airlines plane caught fire after it landed at Tokyo's Haneda airport Friday, but the blaze was put out and no-one was injured, the airline said.
The fire hit the right engine of the Airbus 300-600 shortly after the flight touched down at 1:36 p.m. (0436 GMT) from Aomori, northern Japan, with 121 passengers and crew aboard, JAL spokesman Taro Namba said.
All passengers and crew got off the plane without an emergency evacuation, Namba said, adding that the cause of the fire was under investigation.
